Let us introduce you to our Pageant Director, Michelle Rahn.
Meeting new experiences and challenges in life can easily lead to trepidation, especially as we journey on this unpredictable path called “aging”, claims Michelle. Each one of us is unique and she believes that our uniqueness is not only a virtue but it is our responsibility to become the best of who we CAN be.
Michelle is thankful that the experience of becoming Ms Senior America in 2004 provided her the privilege of meeting women all over the United States who demonstrate a zest for life. She has taken this “contagious joy of living” and is enjoying teaching groups everywhere to ascertain individual strengths. She claims it is never too late to experience the ultimate of who you are and the freedom of who you’re not.
In addition to being an acclaimed presenter. Michelle is a ‘mentor mom’ for Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS), International. She enjoys the challenge of working with young moms who are facing the incredible role of motherhood. It is the philosophy of Senior America that seniors ARE the foundation of America and it is upon their knowledge, experience and resources, the younger generation has the opportunity to build a better society. Michelle believes that nurturing a ‘young mom’ is the core of that foundation.
She has been married to her husband Bob for 43 years. They have 2 great daughters with wonderful husbands and 5 “perfect” grandchildren!
