Dr. Al
Mott is founder of Senior America, Inc., a non-profit, tax-exempt
organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of older Americans.
Senior America, Inc. has two main functions: an organization for
men and women 50 years and older, and the Ms. Senior America
Pageant.
Dr.
Mott holds an Associate in Arts degree and a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Psychology from Monmouth University, West Long Branch,
NJ. He holds a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University,
Tulsa, OK, and received a Doctorate in Theology from the
University of the State of New York, New York Theological. Dr. Mott's
thesis, the University of Senior America, "USA", focuses on
creating a new form of adult education. |
Dr.
Mott is the author of The Sermon, a romantic novel
depicting life in a small religious community filled with Blue
Laws and small minded, small town ordinary people. Dr.
Mott was signed to a recording contract with 20th Century-Fox
Records in New York and was the featured vocalist in a concert at
the International Cultural Center for Youth in Jerusalem,
Israel. |
He is
featured
on a music video called, Lady Liberty, and has a cassette
album of music entitled, Music for the Age of Elegance,
thirteen inspirational songs recorded over a period of several
years. Dr.
Mott is married to Betsy, an attorney by profession, and they have two
daughters, Laura and Mary-Margaret "Molly" Mott.
