 YOUR SUMMER FASHION FORECAST…...

Now is the perfect time to infuse your closet with color. “Orange, yellow, lime green and metallics continue to be big,” says fashion expert Niria Portella. However, most of us can’t afford to overhaul our entire wardrobe to keep up with the latest trends, or we siply can’t figure out which colors look best on us. Our suggestion? Select a few key pieces that complement your hair color. Whether you’re a blond, brunette or redhead, there’s a perfect hue just for you..

YOUR COLOR PALETTE …

If you are pale blond, nothing looks better than taupe to offset the lightness of the hair. For extra flash, try soft gold. If you are golden blonde, go for aquamarine or red. A muted go9ld handbag will refresh your look and pick up the shimmery flecks in your hair. Or introduce red into your wardrobe with a playful scarf. Wear it as a headband or around the neck, or tie it on a handbag. If it is too long, use it as a belt.

Blondes may have more fun, but brunettes have the widest pick of the color spectrum. Dark hair doesn’t clash with any color. So go for something bold; purple and orange are both good choices. Ease into vibrant colors with a purple or orange beaded necklace. Chunky beads area a hot trend this summer. Or try an amethyst, carnelian or amber necklace. It’s a great way to add color without being overwhelming.

There’s no doubt about it. Redheads always look great in green. Kelly green brings out the fiery tones of a coppery redhead. Is your hair more of a strawberry shade? Then opt for a subdued sea-foam green.
You can’t go wrong with a versatile, stylish green cardigan. Why? It goes with just about anything. You can wear it with a shift dress, throw it over your shoulders or pair it with a tank and jeans.

Though white made an impact, cheery spring hues were impossible to ignore, as designers presented an eye-popping rainbow from hot pink to electric blue. Amethyst, sapphire, ruby, emerald – no matter the shade, jewel tones are making their mark this season. Whether you choose a print or a solid, color will inject spirit into your wardrobe.
