Congratulations to PATRICIA ELIASON STARR,  Ms Nebraska Senior America 2008!      Patricia is currently Pedalling her way from Wahoo, NE to Atlantic City, NJ and we wish her the BEST of LUCK.

I am honored and delighted to be representing Nebraska in the Ms. Senior America Pageant in Atlantic City October 19th - 25th, 2008.

My goals are threefold:

First of all, to safely pedal those 1,400 miles from Wahoo, NE, my hometown, to Atlantic City to bring awareness to goals two and three.

Secondly, to encourage donations to be made to Wahoo Public High School, that nutured me as a student and musician, to establish a scholarship to enable music students to continue their education.

Lastly, to emphasize our national goal to spotlight the importance of music education in the schools. It's a proven fact that music stimulates processes in the brain that carries over into all areas of learning. We want all of our students to benefit from this solid educational foundation. This will be an on going goal.

It is a search for the gracious lady who best exemplifies the dignity, maturity and inner beauty of all senior Americans. The Ms. Senior America philosophy is based upon the belief that seniors are the foundation of America, and our most valuable treasure. It is upon their knowledge, experience and resources that the younger generation has the opportunity to build a better society.
